As probably the most NT person on this thread (sadly), take my advice:

Tomorrow when you see them, first thing you need to do is go up to them and introduce yourself. Don't make eye contact with them before approaching, as this will creep them out considering what happened yesterday. When they make eye contact with you smile, maybe wave as you walk over, then you can say something like "hey I saw you guys here yesterday..." blah blah blah and start talking to them. Make sure to be friendly and keep eye contact with each of them for about 3 seconds before switching to the next one, don't attempt any autistic pickup game. If possible, invite them to come inside with you if the conversation goes well or do something outside with them to get to know them better. If you want to leave make up an excuse and say you'll see them later.
