The benefit of genio is that there are muscle attachments to your chin bone, so advancing the chin can have a dramatic effect on the submental region. Possibly pull the hyoid up. This is something chin implants fail to achieve

How did her cheekbones and jaw become wider?

And why are her lower teeth more forward? Is that the result if genio?
her lower teeth aren't forward. the chin moving forward takes the soft tissue in that region forward making it appear like that.

If she fixed her bite, wouldn't she look weird?

idk if her bite is bad tho. if it was she would be recommended jaw surgery instead of genio.

Any negative to genio?

Sorry but I thought sliding genioplasty actually pushes your lower lip behind as the chin comes out.
It could be retraction of upper jaw through orthodontics then moving the chin forward.
you can see the upper lip has changed.

That looks like bimax+genio

if genio alone can do that why does bsso exist

Depends on rotation and movement of chin. Can use graft in fold. Etc.
