Firstly, let's start off with the most important aspect,

1. Coloring

- Look at these abos, they seem to have almost every good feature that psl looks for:
1590161154957.png

Compact midface, high fwhr, hunter or close to hunter eyes, wide bigonial, etc etc...
But they look like fucking shit
- Now look at Ryan Gosling, a punching bag of psl but still gets more foids wet than the entire forums combined:
1590161423650.png

Anyone with two functional working eyes can see why Gosling mogs those Abos, but take a look at when we take away his coloring:
1590161506159.png

Utter subhuman in the right.
Now that we've seen how much of an impact coloring can have, let's look at what makes good coloring.

Contrasts:

- The greater number of color contrasts, the better
- Let's start out with eye area in relation to face. The rule of thumb is, thick dark brows and eyelashes are ideal on any face regardless of looks. Reason for this being is that it is "shielding" the eye area and that it is the perfect contrast to white eyeballs (black and white).
1590162472733.png

1590162583063.png

1590162615680.png

I think it should be easy to see here which one looks the best.
- Now we move onto eye color. Light eyes are ideal. The undertone of your eyes should be the opposite of the undertone of your skin. Examples shown below:
1590167993737.png

Rich green eyes contrasting a cold/grey undertone, compare him to this uncanny looking curry with cold blue eyes and a cold undertone:
1590163116691.png

In the opposite end of the spectrum, here's a rich/warm skin undertone contrasted by cold light eyes:
1590163344158.png

Warm skin undertone is ideal since it is a visual cue of health.
- Now for hair color in relation to skin color, they should go in an opposing gradient like so:
lookstheory.png

Darkest meets the lightest, lightest meets darkest, and the mediums overlaps with each other. This is why highlights are so popular in the black community, this is why tan skinned people try to go for the surfer look, this is why the vampire look is so desired with pale skinned people.
- Another thing is that the darker the eyes the darker your hair has to be and the lighter your eyes the more freedom you have with hair color.
1590167559449.png

This gets color contrast fogged by any typical blonde blue eyed foid

-The overall ideal coloring would then be tan skin with warm undertone, brown hair, and light cold eyes:
1590168450262.png

2. Ratios

- The most important takeaway with ratios is to put the most importance towards having the least amount of sub-ideal ratios rather than having very good few ratios and not good other ones.

Averageness:

- "In 1990, one of the first computer-based photographic attractiveness rating studies was conducted. During this year psychologists Langlois and Roggman wanted to systematically examine whether mathematical averageness is linked with facial attractiveness.[1][2][3][12][13][14][15] To test this, they selected photographs of 192 young male and female Caucasian faces; each of which was computer scanned and digitized. They then made computer-processed composites of each image, as 2-, 4-, 8-, 16-, and 32-face composites, averaged by pixel. These faces, as well as the component faces, were rated for attractiveness by 300 judges on a 5-point Likert scale (1 = very unattractive, 5 = very attractive). The 32-composite face was the most visually attractive of all the faces."
Source: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Averageness
- If you notice, the most attractive faces approach the golden ratio, and the higher the averageness the closer to the golden ratio a face is.
1590169617327.png

- A bunch of uglies combine into a face that flattens out all the ugly features and retains the ideal ratios:

- Reminder: It is average ratios that are ideal not average features. An example of average ratios and good features (ie well defined zygos and jawline etc) would be Chico:
1590170155677.png

Ratios in relation to phenotype:

- Sad that your ratios aren't ideal/balanced? There's still hope. For example, if you have a jock/bully pheno, your ratios can favor a high fwhr and can get away with a non-ideal es ratio due to facial width.
1590170544070.png

If you are a pretty boy, you can get away with a more compact midface and a worse jaw width:
1590170648084.png

Masculine pheno can get away with a sub-ideal midface ratio but needs a good bigonial:
1590170855291.png

- Just know that you can't achieve "main character" status with unbalanced ratios, but you can still have good harmony if your pheno allows it.

3. Independent Variables

- These are the features that aren't tied to others, ie things that have "no limit" to how good they can be regardless of coloring, ratios, pheno, etc.

Eye Area:

- The only part of eye area that might tie to phenotype is how lowset or highset the brows are, as lower set fit low trust and higher set fit pretty boy.
- The ideal eye area has thick dark eyebrows, dark dense eyelashes, a good pfl to pfh ratio, positive canthal tilt, and tight lower lids.

Nose Shape:

- Probably one of the most overlooked features in psl, nose shape plays a great deal in facial harmony, and the better the nose the better the harmony
- The reason for the nose's importance in facial harmony is because it is the first thing detected in your face by the human eye
- "during face recognition, the first two places we look at are around the nose, with the first fixation point being slightly to the left of the nose."

"The authors conclude that the nose “may be the ‘center of the information’, where the information is balanced in all directions, or the optimal viewing position for face recognition.”

Source: https://www.psychologicalscience.or...ation-points-needed-for-face-recognition.html
- Ideal nose shape is either straight or upturned, eurocentric shape

harmony = have a few gl features together.

that's it. no mystical complex harmony in human face.

look at chalamet.

cuckeyes with nct but his eyes has light color + twink frame + kinda manlet (5'10) + decent jaw shape + top quality hair + compact midface + collagenful thight skin.

so plus with his status foids adore him anyway.

harmony my ass.

he just have gl features together and it does delete other ugly features of him.

chads do not look "harmonious".

that's why timothee, ryan gosling etc. actually are not chads. they are chadlites.

but you don't have to be chad or gigachad to be adored by foids if you are famous anyway.

look at real chads. they nearly have all the striking features. there are proven goodlooking features and if you have nearly all of them together, you become a chad.
that's it.

When people use the word "harmony" it's because they're too low IQ to actually explain why someone looks good or bad
that's the main problem with the word

same people who believes in harmony, calls Chico is chad because of his "harmonous face".

Let's look at his face then :

it's not about "harmony". it is so simple.

  1. perfect gonial angle
  2. perfect facial convexity angle
  3. prominent brow ridge
  4. good forward growth
  5. top quality hair
  6. good mouth/nose ratio
  7. good chin/philtrum ratio
  8. good chin/mouth ratio
  9. good ipd
  10. good es ratio
  11. red decent lips
  12. small uee eyes
  13. top tier collagen with thight skin (in his prime)
  14. 6'4 with big skull

he has tons of striking features
.
he has striking features.
he has top tier striking features.

His only lackness is having hunter eyes which is not necessary to be a chad if you have minimal uee eyes.

would be subhuman with abo-tier coloring. all those good ratios you mentioned are in line with mathematically average ratios, which are another component of harmony

yes because it's like having a giant crooked ugly nose in a beautiful face.
still not about harmony.

if you give a ethnic tier shit skin with dark-ugly color which is a huge failio,
then that failio can fuck his appearance yes.

however, if you somehow realistically make him mullato looking light dark smooth skin, he will be a chad again.
it's about how big your failio is.

i think we have a different definition of harmony

to recap my argument, ideal harmony would be:
tan warm skin, brown hair, light blue eyes
ideal facial ratios
good eyes good nose

so pretty much, the least amount of failos with the best coloring possible would bring greater harmony
