dumpster diving is actually based and pretty safe

nowadays most grocery stores lock the fuck out of their dumpsters though because theres so many more homeless people

fucking bums and drug addict retards ruined it tbh

I used to do it sometimes, a lot of grocery stores will throw out an insane amount of perfectly good food still in the package/sealed/etc that is perfectly edible because its just past expiration (expiration dates are not regulated in any way and are usually not indicative of inedibility) or because of other dumb reasons e.x. if a pallet of jam falls and one or two jars break they throw away the entire pallet of 100 jars even though 98 are completely fine
