Can genioplasty add height to chin?

It's recessed and make my hyoid bone look a tiny but lower than it is, and my 3/4 suffers because of my chin. It literally looks like I have no chin. It's not put back, or recessed, it's just non existent, flat essentially.

It'll be my first surgery at 18, so I'm wondering if it can add height to the chin so it actually looks like my shin got better from the front.
