Any benefit to just eating connective tissue/skin rather than supplementing with hydrolyzed collagen? I don't trust supplement companies generally and I'd rather get extra collagen form a whole foods source. It makes sense to eat collagen in the nutritional context of connective tissue and skin which contain other mineral/aminos/vitamins in their natural ratios.
Also anyone know a good source for beef tendon, my butchers will not sell
