Do elevator shoes work?

By elevator shoes, I mean those shoes with the thickened insole that are supposed to raise your height by a couple cm. Do they actually function as intended or would I look obviously fake in them?

Get ones that give 3 inches max and you will be fine, the 3 inches will compress and you will get 2 prob which is the max you should go for with lifts

Nigga you gotta quote me for notifications. Yes you should, don't overdo it cuz it will look ridiculous. 2 1/2 inches of added height (shoes + lifts or just elevator shoes)

Nike airmax 270 can give you right about 2 inches if i'm correct and they don't even look noticeable but since the insoles aren't tough they might compress overtime and decrease to 1.5 or even 1 inches, timberlands boots on the other hand can add like 1.5/2 inches depending on the brand and not compress cause it's a solid heel but they might be a bit heavy.
