I ordered some retin-a but now I heard retinoids lower DHT levels? I don't want to sacrifice masculinization of my skin for collagen. Anyone have any info?

Hey man you know alot about skinstuff. Why they say accutane blocks dht? Isnt it pretty much same as retin a?
It's similar but not exactly the same. Accutane is a lot more potent. It's synthetic Vitamin A and was used as a chemotherapy drug in the past and has shit loads of side effects. It doesn't block 3-AR or 5-AR though. Not directly. It can fuck with your body a lot though. So maybe there's some indirect cause for disrupted hormones.

Alright, so cream retinoids should be fine?
