Does a caloric surplus in adults ruin facial aesthetics?

Lets say a guy starts to let himself go at 25 and averages fat gain of 5lbs yearly so by 35 he is 50lbs heavier and overweight
Lets say he diets and quickly loses these 50lbs
Will his face look worse than it would have done if he hadn't consistently eaten in a surplus and gained all of that fat over those years

Does the act of fat gain take it's toll on facial attractiveness, even after you lose that fat?

No, unless you're seriously overweight. If you're starving all your life, all you'll become is manlet framecel with no aesthetics.
