If you have strong zyggomatics and cheekbones, a wider jaw is supposed to make your cheeks more sunken right? since the cavity between the cheekbone and the jaw will be even more accentuated. Also, does MSDO surgery widen the jaw or only the chin ?

yes, longer ramus and wider jaw = cheeks will become more hollow if not already (as long as you have the cheekbones)
also msdo only widens the chin

wider jaw can create concavity even without prominent zygos like brad pitt

His zygo prominence is diminished in appearance because of his extremely hypertrophied masseters.

it widens the jaw too but it has diminishing returns as it moves back to the ramus

Yes, concavity is created by 5 things mainly:
-zygo position
-cheekbone/zygo prominence
-jaw width
-jaw height/ramus length
-maxillary forward growth

I think that just two of these being decent plus low bodyfat/water retention can already give you concavity

if that was true wouldn't he still have a prominent ogee curve?

What do you mean by "it moves back to the ramus" ? Do you mean that it shortens it?

lets say it widens:

chin by 5mm
mid mandible 3mm
and bigonial by 1mm

I will definitely do MSDO and I'm planning to do BSSO after it, but I'm worried that if my chin is cut with MSDO, will cutting it again with BSSO be possible?

MSDO widens the entire jaw

are you sure ? how so ? so does this mean I won't need gonial implants ?
It pushes both sides of the jaw away from each other. I wouldn’t recommend anyone get implants.

lateral growth+forwards growth+ low body fat = hollow cheeks

But won't the jaw joints stop gonials from moving outwards?

to create holow cheeks you gotta have number of thins happening simoteniously:
1. sufficiently large lower third, which includes:
long ramus, decently wide jaw.
2. decently large zygos.
The 2 upper requirements all there to make an actual space for the cheeks to hollow, like to create an actual large enough cheek, like salludon has for example or @Titbot.
3. be really low bf.
4. have good fat storage genetics for it.
4 is actually decently rare, like even with all the requirments above, you still might not get it because you just store a lot of fat at your cheeks.
also, no all hollow cheeks created equal, youll want hollow cheek like Jon Kortajarena has or salludon.

does a thinner skin also help with bone definition ?

Not sure tbh
In younger pics where he was very lean you can see it
