been hard mewing for 3 months and ive just noticed i have an overbite. is this because the maxilla is being pushed forward and the mandible hasnt caught up?

As far as I know, you should not put a lot of force while doing this, the whole idea is that it develops as a habit and it becomes your natural tongue resting position. It's natural to have an overbite up to 5mm
