since im outa school i usually sleep at around 12am-1am and wake up around 9am.
Is this good or should i aim for the optimal 10-11pm-7-8 am schedule?

timepoint matters

Yes it does, sleeping between 10 PM - 2 AM is when you will grow the most during puberty, it was scientifically proven.

I couldn't find the original one which was in my language. So I found this article https://www.sleepfoundation.org/articles/melatonin-and-sleep. Basicaly it tells you how from 9 PM to 9 AM our body starts producing melatonin, which is the sleep hormone and this is what makes our biorythm going and you shouldn't mess with it, when melatonin gets released, hgh does too.

Another example why sleeping at night is better than sleeping during the day: https://brighamhealthhub.org/healthy-living/sleep-research-is-the-nightshift-bad-for-your-health.

Went to bed at 2-3 AM during puberty and still top 1% height. It's all genetics. Everything else is cope.
