Does midface shorten during puberty for males?

Have heard there are studies showing it does, that the maxilla rotates up. Is this true or cope?

Obviously not true. It lengthens with age.

it did for me I think. I have bit shorter philtrum and lower set suptraorbitals nowadays than when I was a teen
