Chewing is retarded. Just eat, don't excessively chew. Mewing works if you start before 12 years old. Facepulling is for teens and people in their early 20s. MSE anchored pulling can, in theory, work with anyone. We just need someone to test it out. I might! Stay tuned.

In my opinion in this new appliance we still should put acrylic in the back of the gums around the molars. If we put pressure on the back of the dental arches, we make sure that not only the frontal teeth get pushed forward, but the whole dental arch.
in my opimion if you create an appliance that does not surround the molars/wisdom teeth, then you will only push forward the frontal teeth (just like the AGGA does) and the rest of the maxilla will remain there

there is another thing I need to report. You claim that CopeAndRope's appliance does not stay in the palate properly, however if during the acrylic reshaping with dremel, you avoid to remove too much acrylic around the teeth, then CopeAndRope's appliance will wedge into your upper jaw without falling down

If we build the mold of both upper teeth and lower teeth, then we can design an appliance where nails go through the empty spaces of the teeth.
this is how dental technicians build palate expanders

There no empty place of the teeths where you can put a nail

Over . We need an answer

Can you get your molars to touch with this appliance? Looks good just think the mandible might suffer at the cost of the maxilla growth if you can’t touch your molars in tandem with the backwards force on the jaw

I also think the force does need to be higher on the frontal palate to stimulate proper development via mewing, as the only way to get a CCW rotation is by applying more force to the front than the back of the palate, and if you push equally it will result in just a translation of the maxilla (not bad just not as good imo)

For the old appliance about not sticking it to the top of the mouth I avoided that by just increasing the vertical height of where I was pulling from

you can't put nails between the teeth, but you can put wire there.

Waiting on people to post results one day tbh. When that happens, facepulling will go big

Mike mew says that if you want the best chance at achieving CCW rotation, then you should leave a slight gap between your teeth, and not have them sealed fully.

My goal with this appliance was to replicate the tongue’s pressure on the palate. The tongue isn’t wrapped around the molars, but now that I think of it it would probably help it stay in place better.

Don't. Normies will think this is batshit crazy incel shit. Only blackpilled people will actually put in the effort to build and wear this thing.

And furthermore in the end of the video you use a facemask that makes the mandible more recessed, instead of using a neck brace as CopeAndRope recommended. I'm sorry but I don't see any reason to keep this guide pinned since it shows an appliance which is worse than the one CopeAndRope designed.

If you listen to our advice, I'm sure we can design the ultimate facepuller together in future

this is facepulling, not mewing.
you need to keep the bite strognly closed in order to make the mandible grow at the same speed of the maxilla.
Look at how Facebow are disegned:
View attachment 288051
The patient strongly bites an appliance which is pulled forward. As you can see keeping the teeth closed is necessary to make the mandible grow alongside the maxilla.

You should have used wire to connect the appliance to the elastic band. The nail is too thick to make the user close the teeth
Again, if mike says archiving CCW rotation is easier done if you keep the teeth separated slightly, this is the same thing. The madible isn’t growing at all, it is just sliding forward.

Newton's laws of motion, law III

When one body exerts a force on a second body, the second body simultaneously exerts a force equal in magnitude and opposite in direction on the first body.

if you pull your maxilla forward, you need a point of support. while you exert a force on the maxilla in forward direction, then a equal force equal in magnitude and opposite in direction will be exerted on the point of support.

if the point of support is the chin, then your mandible will be pushed back.

if the point of support is your neck, nothing will happen because human neck is very strong and can hold a 1kg force without getting deformed

the same force you use to push your maxilla forward, leads to your mandible being pushed back

THIS IS WHY YOU MUST USE A NECK BRACE

Why can't the mandible hold 1kg of force? Are there any cases of this appliance recessing the jaw?

the reverse pull headgear you are using is literally designed to fix mandible excess in people with underbite.
people who wear the reverse pull headgear end up having a more projected maxilla and a more recessed mandible and that's OK to fix the underbite

Mouth taping is better, but if you're doing face pulling then it's not possible.
