A quick Google search identifies that at least 50% of adults and a quarter/third of young teenagers use glasses, meaning that the numbers are substantial (not like 5 or even 10 in a 100)
The question is not if they make you ugly as IMHO on average guy glasses look like dog shit
The question is how many points you go down when you wear glasses and obv how much points up can it bring you wearing lenses/doing LASIK?
To me it seems that glasses are not masculine/are feminine and combine poorly when you want to look attractive. It's like a instrument you are always dependent on and it just feels helpless. Unless you look very dom with great bone structure and build with height people never take you for real in glasses. At least on average from what I see people wearing glasses
