getting no results from k2? calcium? oxalates are probably the reason as to why youre getting slim to no results

oxalates are ubiquitous in plant foods they occur in over 200 plant families and in some plants comprise over 80% of the dry weight

oxalic acid is like a magnet that attracts minerals such as calcium, magnesium and potassium

Mechanical damage: Insoluble oxalates can find themselves deposited in tissues throughout the body. Over time, the crystal like structure causes wear and tear. They can be deposited in almost any organ in your body: thyroid, kidney, lymph nodes, intestines, eyes and skin [https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3710657/] [https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/1174000https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/1174000].

Biochemical damage: Oxalates also work on a biochemical level. Smaller oxalate crystals called nano crystals can pass through your cell membranes. When it gets into the cell, it can poison and disrupt many processes [*]

Some Foods high in oxalate (100–900 mg per serving) include (more in this article
  • Spinach
  • Beet greens
  • Beets
  • Peanuts
  • Cocoa powder/chocolate
  • Kale
  • Sweet potatoes
  • Turnip greens
  • Swiss chard
Reduced mineral absorption: Oxalates are like magnets for minerals. The most common mineral that it attracts is calcium. Because oxalates are expelled from the body as fast as possible, the calcium is attracts is no longer absorbed.

Arthritis and joint pain:
Oxalate crystals can actually lodge themselves into joints. They are very abrasive and can cause pain every time you move the joint [https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3710657/] [https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/12010612https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/12010612].

Leaky gut and gut dysbiosis: Gut bacteria is necessary to degrade oxalates in the gut, but over time Oxalates can actually kill those bacteria [*].

Thyroid issues: One of the oxalates other favorite crawl into is the thyroid. There, oxalate binds to T3, a hormone that the thyroid releases. This study showed oxalates in 79 out of 100 thyroid glands in routine autopsies [*].

jfl if you have autism
Autistic individuals have an impaired ability to metabolize oxalates that get into the system and an increased risk of other issues like leaky gut (read: more in and less out), resulting in higher levels and more irritation of the body (which results in more physical stimulation). This additional stimulation means more input (more pain, more discomfort, further taxing an already taxed nervous system, etc) that the brain has to deal with, exacerbating the externally perceptible symptoms of dysfunction.

Autism: This study found that patients with Autism had 3x the levels of oxalates in their blood than normal individuals. [*] \

You need to make a tldr.

Only extra chromsome is gonna read that.

tldr basically do everything you can to avoid oxalates. and if you have autism then.....:feelswhy:

In b4 someone says we should go on a carnivore diet

nothing new, no one cares

If you stop eating foods with oxalates, you will experience oxalate dumping, and may have severe symptoms

So should I take a calcium supplement as well?

calcium is basically useless with oxalate. just eat gouda cheese and supplement k2. eat some oranges or something that contains high vit c. magnesium+potassium+boron+hgh = bone growth and remodeling

Interesting, this explains why the doctor says my oxalate levels are 3x more than normal.
