I rarely hear freckles talked about on here but they're a major failo. In most people they fade/disappear with age so not so common in adults, but if you're unlucky enough to carry your freckles into adulthood they're a death sentence.

I'm 27 now and I still have freckles though not quite as bad as this guy. I'm getting laser skin resurfacing soon which should hopefully give some improvement.
