There's absolutely nothing wrong with Turkish HT clinics - the vast majority of which get consistently high reviews on realself, and do so for a fraction of the price of anywhere else.

Arguably the best HT surgeon in the world - Erdogan - is based in Istanbul.

Strongly suspect OP's decision for Korea is based on these factors:

1) 'Koreans are smarter than muh turkroaches, so it must be better there'
2) More expensive means better quality!
3) Maybe I can get muh cute 3D waifu there (good luck doing that with two massive red areas on your head and having a buzzcut for your HT).

Can't speak for OP, but I personally chose South Korea because they give NW0 hairlines with temple closure. Haven't found a place in Turkey that does that. Also they don't give you a buzzcut for HT's there.

The key OP, is not to be a cuckold, realise you're the one paying the money, and DEMAND that they do what you want. They will, providing it's actually possible (i.e. that you have enough grafts that can be transplanted for the area you want covered).

If they get more customers though, then they have more experience. As long as you aren't the first patient to walk through their doors, you're probably not gonna get a botched HT. Also the lower trade restrictions means lower price even with the same qualifications.

That technician's only responsibility is to insert the grafts. It's what he does day in day out for a living. A doctor has to do way more other things, and so is arguably less experienced on the specific matter of graft implantation than the technician is. The same applies for the guy who extracts the grafts, the ones dealing with post-surgery etc. The mass of customers they get and their very narrow roles will on average make them very good at their narrow field of expertise.

I've seen 3 people from this community get HT's in Turkey (1 of them is myself). All of them looked perfectly fine at a fraction of the price you can get elsewhere.

Techs do implantation everywhere because its time consuming labour and requires usually 2 techs, one right handed and another left handed. Doctor can do extractions but doesn't have to, there are motorized tool for extraction that can be used by anyone, some docs use manual extraction tool but it takes longer and has no real benefit over motorised, doctors usually mark where and how many grafts will go, a the end of the day it all depends on whether the person who implants your grafts has a good day or not and if there is no fatigue, turkish clinics are perfectly fine, hair transplant is a simple procedure, especially FUE, you could teach an incel to perform FUE with all the tools that are available right now, there are even implanter pens where you just load the graft into the pen and then stick the needle of that pen intoscalp and press button and it inserts a graft, korea is bad for white guys because they have different aesthetic goals there

They can take the hair follicles from your beard. Obviously this is a last resort option in case you don't actually have enough grafts available in your donor area. I only got them taken from the back of my head, although this was my first HT so I still had plenty of grafts available.
