poor oral hygiene leads to poor oral health, that leads to decay, extractions, and finally weakening of the jaw bone and recessed gums.

If you already have a sub-par jaw then you cannot afford to neglect your teeth.

Trust me on this. At the moment, I have a wisdom tooth that's half broken and I've neglected it for almost two years. Now not even a root canal can save it and I have an appointment in a few days for extraction.

I think if I get orthodontics and whiten my teeth I'll probably go up a half point or whole point in looks. Having good teeth is very important for looking at least decent.
