Dont go to just some random orthodontist. My bluepilled ortho suggested just lower jaw surgery, then I found a different (blackpilled) maxillo facial surgeon one who will do on me: mse, imdo and a double jaw icing on a cake

I’m you have a recessed mandible you are old enough. If your problem is the opposite (mandibular prognathism), wait a couple of years before having surgery .
