How to get rid of skin moles?

Following that thread saying they make you subhuman, I decided to take action. Of course surgery would be ideal but I cant right now. Is there an actual at home remedy that wouldn't be some shit "stick a potato to your face for 24h"? Most of my moles are really flat and small and Id probably gain much nicer skin without em.
