The mouth, often an overlooked trait, is quite important to attractiveness. Like the nose, different lips suit different people, but there are some general guidelines to follow.
For men, the mouth has to be wide. As per the FaceBase, we know that males (on average) have wider mouths than women, making them a dimorphic trait. The ideal is dependent on your ratios/proportions, but in general, they should be as wide as your irises.
Another component of your lips is the corners, down turned corners aren’t very aesthetic. They give you a depressed, angry look.
Lip corners should either be straight, or upturned
imo straight is ideal, but either should suffice. Furthermore, in profile, your upper lip should protrude slightly more than your lower lip:
This adds a feminine touch which is good in balancing out an otherwise masculine face.
Furthermore, the Cupid Bow should be sharp.
A high fighting success trait, a sharp Cupid Bow is important in making your lips defined and masculine.
your lips should ideally be red or pink, but this is dependent on other colouring as well.
Your lips should be decently thick, not too thick and not too thin. Thin lips are a stereotypically masculine trait, but good sized lips are far more better looking as long as they’re wide.
Your lips should be equal in thickness, or your lower lips 1.6x larger than the upper; the latter being ideal.
