Analysis Of Masculine and Feminine Faces

Basic Differences/ Common Knowledge:
A core difference between masculine and feminine faces is the angularity of the face and protrusion/ thickness of bone structure. Examine the following images for some general insight:

60503
60504

General Comparison of Gender Specific Ideals:
  • Men:
    • More prominent:
      • Cheekbones
      • Jaw structure
      • Brow ridge
    • Slightly smaller forehead than ideal in females
    • Square hairline
    • Thick, fine, straight hair
    • Proportional angular nose
  • Women:
    • Traditional attractive features
    • Pronounced yet feminine jaw structure
    • Round hairline
    • Soft, straight hair
    • Slightly upturned nose

Skull Shapes/ Gender Specific Profiles:
Skull shapes contribute to a masculine/ feminine profile. If you haven't seen them already watch the linked video's:

60456

60463

Comparison and extra analysis:
  • Note that the unattractive faces are extremely similar:
    • Big, crooked noses
    • No forward growth
    • The chin melts into the neck
  • Both attractive faces have:
    • Forward projecting/ grown:
      • Maxilla & midface
      • Jaw & submental
      • Forehead & brow ridge
    • Good proportionality (think bottom two facial thirds)
  • In men only:
    • An bad occipital bone can break a profile with any facial recession
      • Note the angel skull shape wouldn't make an ugly guy
    • The lower part of the occipital bone is connected to the traps
      • The profile can be positively changed though growth of this muscle
  • In women only:
    • A a slightly larger forehead can contribute to a good face to head ratio
  • Comparison of attractive male & female skull shapes
    • The male has a bigger face to head ratio than the female
    • Attractive male profiles have bigger more angular features
    • The guy has jaw width visible from the side
      • Contributes to extremely tight submental region

Eye Area:
Attractive eyes are made up of the same key components regardless of gender. Building on top of an already attractive foundation there are, however, gender specific ideals.
60474

Male specific ideals:
  • Thicker and dense eyebrows
    • Dark coloring is of great importance
  • More pronounced brow ridge
  • Eyebrows straight and horizontal
  • Little distance between upper eye boundary & eyebrow
  • Hunter like slits ⬇
60476

Female specific ideals:
  • Arched eyebrows
  • Not of masculine thickness or size
  • Eyelashes

Body Fat:
Men and women have different acceptable body fat percentages. Body fat effects men and women in different ways. Because of higher levels of certain hormones, muscle mass, and the greater average size of men a lower body fat is more easily attainable. People with good faces can have a higher body fat percentage while maintaining their facial attractiveness.

60507

Men:
  • Ideal body fat percentage between 5-15%
  • Core fat distribution in face and torso
  • The ideal lower body fat in men contributes to the ideal facial angularity.
Women:
  • Ideal body fat of 15-25% (debatable)
  • Fat distributed primarily to lower body

Unfortunately it is only possible to have 10 images/ files in a single post so there will have to be a part two. This was a good start place to end though. In part two I will talk more about the importance of masculine and feminine features in overall attractiveness. I plan to have it up by the end of next week.

If there's anything I missed or you want to know more about relating to the post let me know and I'll update it in the G-doc.

The issue isn't really that we don't know what's attractive. The issue is that we don't always know the best ways to attain those features.

Imma get to that in the next part.

To be fair you're one of the more knowledgeable people on this site. I've seen a bunch of threads on "is my face masculine or feminine?" or "should I chad-max or pretty boy max?". Isn't an info post on the forum for this subject as well.

Lol, I wouldn't say I'm knowledgeable at all. I just regurgitate a lot of what I see. The real intelligent members are @Extra Chromosome, @Guest, @jefferson, @Wincel, and @Zeus. Tbh, the only thing that splits us from Reddit :soy: is the fact that we rate harder and blunter. Barely any of us have actually come up with any methods. This forum is just a place we can shitpost and laugh about being ugly together.

tl;dr : we're all shitposters

You have too high gonial angle. That is why your face is not that forward grown.
You are more of a normie: between wimp and warrior skull, but more on the wimp side.
If your ramus would grow immensly and after that your chin and mandible a bit, you would be chad lite or at least DOM looking

Ok just to comment because i am in a hurry so a few notes.
Thin lips is disgusting on male. Look at fatman. Plump lips are ideal or at least somewhat of a vermillion exposure.

Low eyebrows is also attractive on females (adriana lima, emma watsson).

Too low of an eyebrows on male is not attractive, you become primitive and cave man (Shimansky)

Thick full eye brows are an attractive trait on both genders.

Man so not need straight eye brows, look at (tyson ballou, rob evans, alain delon etc, jason moma etc).

Angulairty is good for both genders.

I am still not sure about forhead slope. I have one with a very strong browridge, but i also suspect a vertical forhead with browbridge break is ideal. I have no idea where did seph (the guy who made the video) pulled his facts from

Just of the top of my head these guys prove that false:
  1. Chris Hemsworth
  2. David Beckham
  3. Tom Holland
  4. Henry Cavill
Having attractive lips is important but plump≠attractive. Wide palate and symmetry are way more more important. White (ethnically speaking) lips are ideal. This is shit I can go really in depth about and I plan to once I'm done with finals. For right now just check out Cara's gorgeous thin lips:

True but all situational.
Shimansky's problem is his brow ridge not his eyebrows.
Note if you throw a perfection mask on momoa in ps his upper eye area is his only real flaw:

Eyebrows are complex shit and I made some broad generalizations based on gender ideals

Angulairty is good for both genders.

True but again situational. Selena's amount of angularity makes for an attractive female but is not enough for a male looks equivalent:
