Is the philtrum on the lower third or midface?

the three thirds of a face are are supposed to have the same length. But it seems like whichever part (lower third or midface) has the philtrum is the one that is longer, they are never balanced unless you split the philtrum in two. This is killing me tbh, I’m a newbie, someone enlighten me
