Yes. But eyes matter mostly on photos. IRL as well but slighlty less. On the first morph it made the eyes go from 7/10 to 4/10 but in motion isn't a big deal as everything also comes into play.

Agree that eye area can’t compensate for balding or subhumanly bad features like a below .90 midface or a recessed jaw. However, for the average person (acceptable ratios, no major failos like balding or recession), eye area is king.

Why might this be from an evolutionary standpoint ?

Here is my theory

A wide jaw has a large amount of not only bone, but also masseter muscle

- A large masseter muscle signified in the hunter gather days that this man/or his tribe was successful in hunting (eating more meat)
- A large masseter increases the bone density of the jaw, and making it harder to break

The last one is very important whereas you can lose an eye and still be a successful hunter (this happens often to animals who hunt). A broken jaw usually spells death in the wild.
