I’ve got really bad mental energy, focus, motivation levels and fatigue that I now think is caused by sleep apnea. I’ve been off and on different add stims but they don’t really do much for me. Definitely not enough for me to think that add is my problem. I can focus well when motivated, just rarely have the mental energy to feel motivated. But like I’m plenty focused trying to learn about looksmaxxing, or playing piano. Back in high school I got a 34 on the act with double my already moderate-high dose of concerta, then took it months later off meds and got a 35. High iq but get literally nothing done.

I saw the video mpmd did about it and he said that while it is overhyped as a nzt style smart drug, it is powerful as a wakefulness drug prescribed for narcolepsy and sleep apnea. You’ve probably seen it but for others he described it as “caffeine on steroids without the jitters or anxiety”. Sounds like this might be the fix I need until my airway is fixed. I’ll try to get this prescribed soon and report back. Should be doing a sleep study this month or next.
