There is a slight correlation (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/15703531 ) and the first example of stabilizing selection you learn in elementary biology is human baby sizes (too large=gets stuck in birth canal/too small=weak and dies I guess). All I am saying is advancements in childbirth technology have probably resulted in a measurable increase on average height. The title is hyperbolic as are most statements on this forum.
