My dad is willing to give me $1000 to invest in stocks and etc.

I am offering free advice on another thread, so you are wrong again 🤷‍♂️
I don't understand how your "Buy this crypto you have never heard of and become rich! It's a once in a lifetime opportunity!" free advice makes me wrong.

I can provide fundamentals, but nobody asked. If you want to know more just ask in the thread and i ll answer. Meanwhile you can check the price action (which is the most important thing when investing) and realise how wrong you were, you are and will be. 😘

Broooo I'm not saying that you can't gain money that way.
OP is just a boy, and a total beginner in the world of investing. What do you think is better for him?
- Learning everything he needs to know about value investing by reading the book I suggested
- Blindly following your advice and putting his money in cryptos (he may get rich this way, but he will not learn anything. Since he is young, he should focus on LEARNING).

Do you see my point? Again, if what you say about your degree in Finance is true I have no doubt that you are an expert in the field, howver I still think that OP should LEARN about investing before following someone's advice, even if it is good advice (and we don't know if it's good advice).

When I said that people who invest in cryptos are idiots I meant those who blindly follow trends without doing their research. Obviously it's not your case. I hope you see what I mean, you seem like a smart dude even if a bit arrogant, honestly

First of all, i ve never said that he shouldn't learn. I also advised him to read the intelligent investor. What are you talking about???
Second, you didnt provide any detailed info about value investing, you did pretty much what i did, you suggested a book, but meanwhile, you called me and other guys idiots.
Third, all i said about my degrees is true, i can pm you with pics of them if you want.
And last, but not least, i am not arrogant, i defend myself because you called me and idiot. You made the mistake of calling me an idiot when i know 10 times more about this stuff than you. Its like me calling warren buffet or simmonds an idiot, bad idea...

too late faggot.

But longterm you should invest in LUV, the fundamental value of the stock is still higher than it is rn, definitely higher than 45USD. Obviously check for news and cashflow statements continuously. But rn it is still an oportunity for longterm (0.5 -1.5 years). If you have the guts, use leverages.

As I said, I wasn't talking about you when I said "idiots". You are obviously more knowledgeable than the average crypto investor.

You only advised him to read the book AFTER I said it first. Your original message was just "Buy cryptos instead", not really helpful for a beginner, am I right?

I believe you about your degrees, and my knowledge about Finance is probably like ≈5% compared to yours, maybe that's why you can't put yourself in a total beginner's shoes. Right now if he follows your advice "Just buy cryptos" he will probably lose his money

No, he probably wont if he is patient. Investing in crypto now is like buying msft in the early 90s. And you didnt advised him to read the book i mentioned, you suggested him other (good) book. I didnt specify any crypto also, he can choose btc if he wants.
Equity market is overvalued as hell. Qe is making the biggest bubble ever.

It depends where you live. If you live in less populated areas its not the best idea. If you live in nyc you have to compete with huge companies..
