Saw 2 skinny guys wearing lifting shoes

These 2 guys were prob my height like 180cm-186cm (5'10'' or 6'1'') but wore lifting shoes and looked 6'3'', seriously considering lift shoes like AirMax.
Do you know if theres any benefit to wear lift shoes if your 6'1''?

Lifts are beneficial up to 6'4" IMO for the simple fact that more men are wearing lifts than you think, even guys around the 6 feet mark that shouldn't really need them. Gotta counteract the frauding.

I've witnessed this several times at work. Guys that were normally a good 3 inches shorter than me were all of a sudden as tall as I was.
