And indeed he did. Paul was like most normies. Listen. Don't ask questions. Do as you're told. That is how it had always worked. That is how it would always work. He knew this because the TV said so. Because the news said so. Because his teacher at school said so. Because his doctor said so. Because the government said so. The only people who did not believe it were those who didn't have shit for brains, but they were not to be trusted. Because others said so.
Then one day the government forced him to swallow a poison pill and he died. But that's ok. Because they said so."
Understanding how normie psychology works.
Ah yes! It is a yet another chapter for shitting on normies! How swell! Well it is, because we can never have enough of those.
This time, the purpose is understanding the thought process (and I use that term only in the broadest sense) of normies.
If you are blackpilled, odds are that at some point you've probably asked yourself why normies are so utterly lacking in intelligence. Or dozens of times. Or hundreds/thousands of times. You've also probably experienced situations where you attempt to reason with them, only to be greeted with canned responses that don't even sound like they were designed to counter your own arguments specifically, but rather its just something they've memorized and then repeat mindlessly.
It's really not that complicated really. What separates normies from blackpillers, is that presumably because of innate biological difference, blackpillers have several inbuilt cognitive abilities that normies do not. Most notable of these abilities are:
Logical reasoning: Using logical reasoning skills to come to obvious conclusions.
Ex: Bob is the only person in the family who drinks beer. He and some others come over for a family party. The party ends and everyone leaves. You discover some leftover beer in your fridge. Clearly it must belong to nobody that you know, so you just throw it away instead of asking the only drinker in the family if he forgot it.
Fallacy: Knowing there is only one likely candidate for forgetting their beer, but still not realizing it was him because you can't put 2 and 2 together to equal 4.
Data cross referencing ability: The act of comparing multiple different pieces of information to see if there are contradictions and paradoxes, and then calling out said contradiction.
Ex:
Statement: "The data shows your back muscles can be worked without deadlifitng, so clearly that roider is correct in that deadlifts are a must for building a strong back!"
Fallacy: Beleving deadlifts are essential even if it isn't supported by actual evidence, simply because the roided dude at the corner says so.
Statistical literacy: Ability to understand numbers and put them into context. Note that THIS IS NOT THE SAME AS BEING GOOD AT MATH. You can calculate complex numbers in your head and still be statistically illiterate.
Ex:
Statement: "100 million people live in country X. Covid has killed over 10k people in that country, so there is a reason to be concerned!"
Fallacy: While 10k victims sounds like a high number out of context, in a country with 100mil inhabitants it's statistically insignificant.
Ability to look past ego/emotion: Nobody can do this 100%, but blackpillers can do this way better than any normie can. A blackpiller is driven by 10-30% ego/feeling and about 70-90% reason. This is because blackpillers are nihilists who are less likely to use feel good lies to bullshit themselves. With normies it's the other way around. They are chronic narcissists and sociopaths that will lie and kill to preserve their delusions.
Statement: "The reason women reject you is because they think your race is ugly. But that's only because of racism because all peoples are equally beautiful."
Fallacy: Dismissing the possibility of biological inferiority/inequality because of ego reasons.
So why is it that normies lack these abilities? And what even is a normie?
A normie is any individual that lacks agency/independence and will never bother questioning the status quo, or if they do question it, they will do so only for deluded reasons. A blackpiller, is somebody who is willing to let go of their ego and simply admit, that unless they belong to the top 1-10% of the most genetically blessed, they will probably suffer a lifetime that is mediocre or worse. They also will not buy into cope ideologies like alt-left, alt-right, Islam etc.
The reason normies lack the above mentioned abilities.
It probably all just comes down to evolution and natural selection. Historically speaking, if you were a free thinker, the ruling class just murdered you. That created a selection pressure that rewarded the survival of the most sheepish, rather than rewarding critical thinking or intelligence. For those handful few who benefited from their critical thinking, they probably went on to eventually make it into the ruling classes themselves anyway. This is why critically thinking individuals with high IQ on average dominate the ruling classes of the world, where as most of the lower classes are braindead ship with mediocre or low IQ.
But it possibly goes back even further than that. It is possible that back during the stone age or ice age, those tribes that had too many free thinkers were less likely to survive, where as those that were lead by strong authoritarian rulers survived more often, because there was less bickering. That may have been a good thing at the time, but not so much anymore.
In any case, there is a overwhelming chance that the difference between normies and non-normies is inherent and biological.
Does this mean normies will always be stupid?
Yes. There is no biological mechanism that enables normies to "wise up", because cognitive functions and traits are inherent. It is not possible to "condition" normies into not being normies anymore. Ultimately, we are all just animals governed by our inbuilt biological instincts. Normies have their instincts. Non-normies have theirs. It is what it is.
Chances are, once the elites don't need them anymore, normies will probably go extinct.
The need for a sheepish class of normies may soon come to an end. In a world where critical thinking is more valuable than ever, and with the ruling classes slowly replacing the masses with robots and AI, it's highly questionable if they will even tolerate the existence of normies for a single second longer than they have to. And who can blame them.
It's just a shame that hey will probably drag us all down with them into our doom.
