There's 2 things that have to be factored in: proportions and physical fitness.
Proportions are one of the basis of humans' sense of beauty; if you are excessively bulky, you cease being proportionate and look less harmonious/human-like. Titanic bodies may indeed look impressive, but that's mostly to males because we are interested in out-maleing the other males: being huge and muscular is a male power fantasy first and foremost.
Physical Fitness is an indicator of how well you can actually use your body; the "skinny guy with some muscles" can pull himself over a cliff, he can run and hunt and swim, he can fight. A powerlifter can lift impressive amounts of weight but he'll be out of breath after running for 10 seconds. A body like that is not evolutionarily attractive because it entails less chances of survival in the wild.

Yeah girls prefer muscles, but the extent of what bodybuilders have is abnormal, and not natural in nature. It's like if girls took a drug that made their boobs exceptionally large, like balloons with fucking veins popping out. It is just too fucking much.
