JFL bro, you don't need total anonymity, just increased amounts of it:

• Many VPN's have been proven to have 0 logs (such as failing to provide info to governments because they literally have nothing to give)
• Combined with TOR, Tails, and a proxy, you can literally be nearly invisible. Of course, if a gov spent millions they could probably find you, you just want to make yourself a hassle -> Being a hassle = not worth it = not getting caught
