Chewing will help but only when you are in development stage.

Browridge and chin are largely determined by hormonal profile (Believe slightly higher T relative to E ratio). Tongue posture for "mewing" essentially guides lower third forward growth only. Robustness is genetics but also environment; i.e. eating a lot of hard to chew things will masticate enough force for mandible and zygos growth, but without proper tongue posture, they won't grow properly. Ideally you want a child to be breastfed for the first two years of its life to have a sufficiently large enough upper palate (better nasal breathing) and it should be growing up on whole, nutritious food that takes a decent amount of time to chew to stimulate force on to the surrounding muscles of the Zygos, Mandible and Temporalis regions (another reason why some people notice browridge growth from chewing when they're still in puberty).
