What am I supposed to do with coarse frizzy hair?

My hair looks like literal crap and cannot be styled. I tried so many products and it makes it look even worse than without putting any product. Ever cut a cable and saw the numerous wires that come out of it? My hair is like those wires basically.

This is what it looks like. I couldn't even find a picture of a dude with hair like this because no dude has this type of garbage hair. Should I just shave it bro?

Note: I don't have long hair, it's medium length and looks like shit at any length.

I think it is because I straightened the shit out of my hair when I was a teen with scene hair. I know another dude who just shaves it bro for the same reason :/
