These numbers are for REAL BAREFOOT height, not adding inches that aren't there. And not for Scandinavian countries or Germany where the locals' height is very high. Imo it's like this for Anglo Saxon countries and most European countries:

Under 5'8 needs to get LL and/or move to a shorter country.
5'8 to 5'10 is a disadvantaged height imo but not death, can still cope and succeed.
5'10 to 6' is seen as average.
6' to 6'2 is tall, in most rooms of 10 guys they will be tallest or second tallest.
Over 6'2 is noticeably tall, they'll be described as the "tall guy"

It's fine in the sense that you're very very very rarely going to get rejected for that alone. If you're not getting dates or lays at that point it's because of face.

5ft 9 is probably perfectly acceptable in Southern European places like Spain and Italy.

All this bollocks about how it's over if you're not 6ft+ needs to stop. It's demonstrably not true. It's not truly OVER until you're like 5ft 5 (in Europe).

The crucial range is from like 5ft 6-5ft 11. Below that range you're fucked, above it each inch is very much a law of diminishing returns. In that 5ft 6-11 window though, each inch makes a fair deal of difference to your dating prospects - although of course you'll need a good face at ANY height, since ugly is ugly no matter the platform it rests on.

5'10 is where there's no big noticable drawback (not really a positive or negative). Anything under that each inch cuts into your dating pool until under 5'5 it's under 5% (without accounting for face, body, etc.) I'd say around 6'1 height becomes a noticable positive

Depends on where you're from but in your generic tallish country in west europe, 5'10-5'11 is average, but not a positive. 6'0-6'1 is above average, a small positive. 6'2-6'3 is tall, fairly big positive, but kind of phyique dependant. 6'4-6'5 is noticeably taller than most, but very physique and perceived frame dependant. Scrawny at 6'5 I'd argue is worse than normal weight at 6'2 for example, because it makes you stand out negatively. Conversely, a great physique at 6'5 mogs a great physique at 6'2 pretty hard. 6'6-6'7 and up is extremely tall, but not necessarily a detriment. Though I doubt someone at 6'7 will have any higher success based on height alone than someone who is 6'4, because it's already so far above average that most people don't mog you.

I'd argue that height is like a multiplier. A ripped body on a super tall guy is much more impressive than a ripped body on a 5'10 guy. Everything becomes more powerful in a way, for better for worse. Scrawny at 6'7 makes you a freak, jacked at 6'7 makes you a god, whereas it isn't as big of a difference on shorter guys. Just my theory.
