My hair looks best when messy and with texture so which types of hair products are the best for this?

Also, I DON’T WANT VOLUME, my hair has too much already.

This should help other people too as thick, ethnic hair does tend to look the best when messy and texturised.

EDIT: I want this look:

Maybe sea salt spray? But all it did for me was cause frizz

What I do rn is just a tiny bit of castor oil for texture and then a strong hairspray. Looks amazing.

I’ve been reading up about sea salt spray, does the frizz give messy/texture look?

I want my hair to look like this:

Hm. it could, but it'd look different on me than it would on you since my hair is quite long ngl.
But yeah it'd probably help.

Yeah that’s true, it’s gonna be different on long vs short hair and also Caucasian vs ethnic hair.

Also very true, granted it's longer than i like atm (slightly below chest) thats way too long even for me, but all hairstylists, barbers are full atm here. but ngl i need some combination of medium/longish hair and something to cover me 4head :lul:

Is your hairline receding currently? Also would it be too obvious if you or someone else who isn’t a barber tried cutting your hair?

It's not receding fortunately, that'd be hell at 16. But i've always had a high hairline, even in pics from 3 years ago.
And yeah that'ds be a bit obvious, hol up ill pm you my front + side so you can see what i mean haha
