Why is my bodyfat thicker on my right side of belly than my left?

I'm using a bodyfat caliper and when I squeeze the bellyfat on my right side I'm able to squeeze better than on my left side, why is this? Is it because by squeezing on your bodyfat you can make it easier to squeeze?
