So apperently the surgeon wants to extract my 2 wisdom teeths for the BSSO in the future.
Because I am blackpilled I asked him if it will leave me ressesed ?
The answer was no.
So what should I do?

it won't leave you recessed, you're already too old

might make your face slightly narrower but will do nothing for recession

I had my wisdom teeth removed already a few years ago and I will need additional extractions of my lower second premolars before I have my BSSO.

There is no other alternative because you need to push your teeth back to create room to move the mandible forward.

Getting extractions is extremely common for jaw surgery.

interested to know this, would the BSSO movement counteract the bone recession from the teeth extraction.

It seems mandatory for the BSSO.
