if your face is shit or weird proportions hair in a certain style can make your features look more normal.

for example wide skull with shaved sides and lots of hair on top makes head and face look less round.

bangs hide small jaw by covering forehead so they can't see how small your jaw is since your brain uses forehead to determine ratios.

Chad can wear any hairstyle because his proportions are automatically perfect.
