This is a conclusion I have come to after doing my research on how IQ affects life outcome. Unless you are top 10% IQ (120) and preferably 130 IQ (top 3%) you are basically just a meaningless NPC. Literally all of the cool shit in the world that you enjoy using and/or take advantage of every day is being made by these people. All the most talented artists, CEO's, scientists, designers, programmers, game devs, film directors....you name it. They almost ALWAYS have an IQ in this range. All the while I can barely scrape by with my passions with my measly barely average IQ of 98.

Just lol at saying IQ is overrated. IQ is literally everything if you have any kind of passion or dreams. Without a good one you could as well just not bother. Life is so fucking unfair.

High iq can be a detriment. I'd say 120 is the sweet spot. Assuming there is a 30 iq gap of meaningfulconversation that means you can talk to anyone from 90 to 150 iq which is basically anyone you'd ever want to talk to while someone at 130 is effectively cutting off half the population and a good proportion of valuable people. At 150 you're basically isolated from most the population and from there it gets considerably worse.
Oh and high iq will not help you get women whatsoever and is a detriment if anything.

iq is cope. making money? determiniation, will power, starting position, luck are some among of the things you need to succeed. I make hundreds of dollars daily, where I'm from only big time doctors and lawyers make that. I got to that point due to hard research, determination and will to take risks, no big brains involved. Peers in school who did excellent in math and barely studied are struggling to find work, even if they do they would earn no more than 800$ a month. In the regular fields of work you need connections to get to high places. Yes some become extremely successful just because they're truly intelligent, but what are the odds of that happening today?
In other fields of life? I don't see how having a 120+ iq would make you live better. How does it come to play in relationships, when making friends, or having fun in general

Yeah tbh too many people cope their non nt on iq, I think you can have highish iq and still be NT for example 130 is probably the limit but I'd say there's considerably more 130 iq non nt people than 100 iq non nt people. At 140 I'd say you're almost certainly non nt but tbh I probably haven't met many 140 iq people or if I did I wouldn't know. If you're 120 iq you have no excuse tbh.
