This is simply a conclusion I have come to after thinking pretty hard about this subject matter. JFL at all the copers who think there is such a thing as healthy drinking. There isn't. The ONLY group of drinkers that aren't alcoholics are people who only drink at social gatherings where they are offered a drink by somebody else. The overwhelming majority of all drinkers who actually buy their own alcohol outside of bars or restaurants are addicts 100% serious.
Many people cope for a while thinking that this isn't the case. But it is. If you buy alcohol to drink at home (even if it's not for binge drinking) more often than a few times a year for a social event then you are an alcoholic period. Not everybody is as big of an alcoholic, but almost all of them are one way or another.
JFL at drinking and thinking it's not an addiction. Even the craft beer community is full of addicts in denial.
