Are morals something we are biologically born with, or is it something that we learn through our environment?

Civilized people would see killing as something that's inherently wrong, but if you grew up in a tribe family with cannibals you'd see killing as something normal.

So is it our environment that fully forms our morals / society influences certain morals into us ?

We are born with morals if ur born willing to easily kill other people etc it would not be advantageous for the spiecies

Itโ€™s something that can be lost with upbringing tho

Morality is subjective

If its based on emotions then you need to consider some peoples prefrontal cortex doesnt work the same from birth

So they are born without empathy shame and those typa feelings that create what u deem as morality

This is genetic

Reason and morality often do not go along. If you choose reason, you either decide to be egoistic or anti-egoistic. If you choose morality, you adapt to others based on shared emotions and feelings. Respecting the law is not either reason or morality because is not decided, most of the time people adapt to others only because law exist (ex: not passing a red light when driving). Most people live based on what they aren't able to do rather than what they have to do.
