In male-female dynamics, it is always implicitly implied that the male is supposed to take action towards the female. All male-female interaction is affected by this concept. Thus, since it is always in the back of a female's head that whatever male she is interacting with could be trying to make a move on her at any moment, females experience a primal sense of disgust for simply being around and interacting with males they find unattractive – unless they have good reason to believe that said male isn't going to try to get her in bed.
Females, especially when they're unattractive, virtually never make moves on males. So they don't face that same issue. Men are supposed to put their dicks inside a female's vagina. Not the other way round. Women win, men lose.
