Or rather beauty as the Ancients defined it. For eg this is easy on the eyes
But imo its juts one small and overrated component of beauty. Having a more complex and at first slighty more difficult to process face like Gandy, Ramirez or Ballou is best. Because easy on the eyes faces get boring fast like chico, nessman etc. but faces that are more compelx to process will grow on u and ultimate it involves a second order positive hedonic state casted over the aesthetic experience as a whole.
this is the entire meaning behind dark triad, it involves a perceival of a threat which threatens to dejoin the aesthetic experience of analysiing a face, but as Hume noted the concurrent expereince of two hedonic emotions is overruled by the casting of the stronger hedonic state over the latter and only serves to make the aesthetic experience more complex in phenomenology (as our evolutionary background has two mechanisms wired in our subsconscious that coudl be said to play out in tanden, aka both threat perceival and analysis of mating choice/ beauty and it seems the latter wins out everytime esp. in low cortisol sistuations). AKA dark triad looks is MORE in favour these days not less , although our situation is drastically diff from caveman whose dark lookz would have signalled better resource gathering.
This applies more so to males than females, although can work in women as well due to different reasons (darker hair/ thicker eyebrows can mean higher sex drive etc)
