best EE country for a web developercel?

in 2020, coronavirus permitting, i should finish my conversion from technician to developer. I would like, at least for a few months, if I can freelance, go to Eastern Europe. Which country do you recommend? The best choice would be a town near a big city. In Italy there is still the myth about how danger is eastern europe, but friends of mine who have travelled in EE have reassured me.
