I've noticed that many autists have this uncanny look to them, like just seeing a picture of them is enough to deduce something's wrong, so is NTmaxxing worthless since the normie brain has evolved to detect spergs with astounding efficiency?

If you're a clinical aspies normshits can detect your non-ntness within a few miliseconds of hearing you speak

autism comes with distinct facial characteristics, but they're largely overlooked, and not everyone on the spectrum has them.

it's never hindered me in short term dating, or getting laid, long term dating is problematic though.

what is autism actually like? Like what difference does it make other than socially being weird

like being invited to a costume party but you were the only one that bothered dressing up.

I cannot follow the train of thought of any other person and they can't follow mine.

so you think too much? Like easily invested into shit you lose track of other people?

I don't think much unless I have to, but that's unrelated, my thought pattern is just abnormal.

If u speak with a monotone voice, are stiff, or have serious expressionless mannerisms, then you are non nt. Wether it is autism, or anxitey, normies do not care. They can smell it a mile away and will place you low on the social hierarchy scale in the same way a sub 5 gets placed there.

easiest way to tell is by asking your parents at what age you started talking, almost everyone on the spectrum had delayed speech development besides aspergers.

In kindergarten I was sent to a speech therapist

PSL autism is just under socialisation.

Normies will gas light you into thinking you have mental disorder while simultaneously excluding you from everything due to your looks.

What are the distinct facial characteristics that people with autism have? Are you talking about the 'deer in headlights stare' ? I know they dont show much facial expressions but I dont think they have a distinctive look like people with down syndrome do

Yes, but it’s possible to learn to mask well, if you learn a lot about your diagnosis, knowing how you behave, etc. I would be able to mask well if it wasn’t for me stuttering like an absolute retard

It causes sensory hypersensitivity and hyposensitivity, dislike of change, harder time understanding what people mean, and consequently a harder time empathizing. For myself the main thing is the sensory processing disorder and communicating. I don't like loud noises and I am very keen on smell, I can't tolerate a lot of textures, and I prefer a darker environment. Communication wise, I do not make facial expressions and use vocal tonality like others do, and I do not interpret the facial expressions and vocal tone of other's at all, unless they're quite explicit. I also have a hard time understanding unspoken meanings and nonverbal social cues.

90 percent of this forum can relate

Dont think it applies to most high functioning ones (or what was commonly known as aspergers, verbal with normal IQ) but for the classical type of autism probably the case
