My eyes are a brown/amber color with an ever so slight yellow green depending on lighting. Wondering if it’s worth getting colored contacts and how much that would even help. Also, heard some anecdotes that contacts cause eyelid sagging over time I think it’s called ptosis

Get green ones, blue wont look good if u have brown eyes or/and you are ethnic.
Yeah i heard that they can cause some problems if you using them in long term.

true green eyes are even rarer so blue would be more reasonable

Problem is that blue looks very fake on ethnics or people with brown eyes. Going for green is more reasonable because it will look natural and good.

that's why I wrote "true" green eyes. Idk whether there are contact lenses of olive color (basically the much more common version of green eye color with more melanin in it)

Contacts always look unnatural

Depends. I tried contacts once (i have blue eyes) and they looked legit. I used brighter blue and green.
I think they are legit for people with colored eyes, light skin but look unnatural on ethnics due to coloring.
