Can you lose fat and also build muscle at the same time?

I have a bit of facefat and love handles and i dont like it. Will i be able to lose the fat while gaining muscle?

My stats: 16yo, 61kg, 180cm, 15.8% bf, i go gym too
 
yes you can, albeit slower

So will i be abele to still build muscle if i cut and eat like only healthy stuff
ye, just eat enough protein, sleep enough and you'll be able to
 
idk based on what u said ur probably not 15% body fat if u still have love handles, so keep cutting

If you’re relatively new to working out you can build muscle in a deficit since your body is still in the “newbie gains” phase.

It also depends on your bodyfat levels, the higher your bodyfat is the more ideal your environment is for building muscle.

It’s not impossible, but it’s just harder to build muscle in a deficit.

I’ve done it plenty of times and have seen other people do it.

i get the same result and ik for a damn fact im not 16% body fat, just like online IQ tests arent valid, only a dexa scancan give you accurate results

You can eat at maintenance. You will build muscle while losing, however this takes longer. But it’s worth it.

Most likely just water retention.
 
Will be very slow though

I dont think you can get away with this if you are an experienced lifter too
