Cost of flying private jets?

How much does flying private cost? I've had so many times where I missed my flight or some other bullshit happened that it'd be easier to just charter a jet. Anyone have experience with the best place I can just call up and hop on a jet?

almost had to charter a quick flight from qatar to dubai since i missed my flight. i’d say it’s only worth flying private in europe or america if the cities you’re traveling to aren’t well connected
