Diamond face shape deal with hairstyle

I am sure I have a diamond face shape, right now I have a fringe, but I am often advised to opt for long hair, but according to you, without a beard it passes or it is too feminine ? Then when I see "long hair" I don't really know how much it should be long, and what hairstyle to adopt? And also do you think long hair is an advantage when it comes to attracting women or a disadvantage, personally I find long hair not ugly at all, but I have always perceived it more as a disadvantage, girls generally don't seem to find it beautiful...

My hair is long and curly and girls like to touch it and get mad when I get a haircut and literally laughed at me when I got it buzzed. Even some close guy friends want to touch my hair.
